On reaching the pinnacle, we’ll take in the thinning air and the 360 views before descending to the Pacaymayu Valley. Pushing downhill, we'll then break for lunch and give our bodies a big rest before tackling one more pass.

It’s 2 hours to the the top of Runcuraccay Pass and along the way a quick stop at a small Inca site of Runcu Raccay to also see two waterfalls cascading down the opposite side of the valley. After conquering the second pass, a downhill hike before arrival to the magnificent Inca site of Sayacmarca. After a tour here, witness the sunset and then arrival to our second campsite at Chaquicocha.
